I have a domain called mail.abc.com & the alias name for the domain is abc.com. A mailing list is created with the name support@abc.com & members of around 300+, When ever i add a new member to that mailing list. some users are automatically removed from it.
After debugging i found that memberOfGroup stores domain name as well as alias name of the group. for eg..
memberOfGroup: support@mail.abc.com
memberOfGroup: support@abc.com
While viewing the ldap file of omitted user. I see memberofGroup ldap value as
memberOfGroup: support@mail.abc.com
I think there is a problem with adding of users in the mailing lists with alias domain enabled.
