Welcome email

I want an email automatically should be sent to every new account when created. Please guide how to do that. my configurations are follows.

- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 5.5
