Hi,
Need to use mail server on some web applications (forum, ect.). However most such applications will only send via SMTP over SSL/ TLS if using a non-local mail server.
iRedMail only supports STARTTLS out of the box.
So followed the guide here: http://www.iredmail.org/docs/enable.smtps.html
to enable SMTP over SSL/ TLS
SMTP over SSL/ TLS didn't work after following guide and restarting.
Here is the relevant output (I believe) from the log file:
May 1 10:05:40 mail postfix/smtpd[2457]: fatal: unexpected command-line argument: smtps
May 1 10:05:41 mail postfix/master[2185]: warning: process /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd pid 2457 exit status 1
May 1 10:05:41 mail postfix/master[2185]: warning: /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd: bad command startup -- throttling
Assistance appreciated.
